Our coffee time was almost uneventful! We had some new customers come in but the students just keep right on brewing! I don't have to help them AT ALL on White Days. The students are so helpful and courteous to each other and have good teamwork skills.
During our second block today, we got to go shopping. We did price comparison with Family Thrift. They had good prices for milk but their flour was MUCH more expensive. We saw the headlines for yesterday on the front page, while we were in line at the checkstand. There were FOUR semis tipped over because of 80 mph winds yesterday! Whoa!
Our third block class got two dollars and went to the dog show across the street. There were SO many kinds of dogs and they were all so well-behaved. We then went to use our $2.00. There wasn't anything they could get with it so they got the idea that they could pool their money together and get something to share. What a great idea! So we shared mini doughnuts and apples with caramel.
While we were watching the dogs in the ring, we saw Mrs. Wire's class!
