What an amazing party. I can't say it better than our pics, so here they are!

Holy moly, we've been busy! Shopping, planning, and decorating for our Christmas party has been keeping us moving. Our planning is going very smoothly. We've heard back from several schools and it's got us all a buzz. After all the RSVP's back, we might have almost 100 people! Do to this large number, we've had to reserve another room down the hall for all the action.
We've purchased 4 gallons of milk for hot chocolate, 4 gallons of hot cider, and candy canes coming out our ears! Man OH MAN, we're excited! The other students from the middle schools, Stevens High School, and the Adult Transition Program are all bringing amazing, yummy goodies to share with us. I can't wait to pig out! :) We've come up with several fun Xmas games to keep us entertained; pin the nose on Santa, candy cane relay, and Xmas Bingo are just a few. We'll make sure to take lots of pictures so we can share our joy and celebration. Fun will be had by all! Several students went to check out some new flavor ideas. Combos you can look forward to are: Snowflake, which is peppermint and vanilla; Cozy Sweater, which is hazelnut, butterscotch and cinnamon; and last but not least COBBLER, which is our special concoction that includes apple spice, vanilla, and caramel. I can't wait to taste them! Thinking of all these flavors has gotten our brain gears grinding!
Mrs. Wire's class has caught our entrepreneurial spirit--she opened a gift shop. They are selling all kinds of things, necessary or yummy. She and a couple students have set up shop in our coffee shop every morning to sell their wares. They haven't gotten many customers, yet, but many promise to buy! To lure people into the shop, she is giving away a $5.00 gift card everyday. So far, security guard, Tim and parapro, Carolee have won it this week.
We've had a ton of people that want to try our Snowman flavor. Peppermint seems to be the flavor of the season. |
