I'm wanting to send an update in regards to our field trip tomorrow, April 24th. Due to the chance of inclement weather, we are not going to be able to go to the Strider track. Instead of doing something outdoors, we will go to the Dahl Fine Arts Center at 10:00. After that, we will head over to The Elks Theater where we will have lunch and watch Big Hero 6! We will all be back before third block ends. We are looking forward to a fun day. :)

I'm writing to give you information about our annual transition program field trip! The students have done such a nice job this year, so they are being rewarded with a field trip to Strider Stadium and The Elks Theater. The field trip will take place on Friday, April 24th from 10:00 a.m-1:30 p.m. The field trip will span second and third block. For second block, we will visit the Strider Stadium and try out the course and Strider Bikes. For third block, we will be at The Elks watching a movie! The kids are very excited. I have given the students field trip permission slips for their guardians and teachers to sign. We are looking forward to a fun day! :) Forget March Madness, it is April Madness here at CHS. We have SO much going on this month between state alternate testing, prom, IEP meetings and field trips, all on top of our daily routine. As of today, we have 34 remaining school days, but we still have a lot to get done!
I will further update you in regards to the field trip we are taking, but I just wanted to give you a heads up on upcoming events. Also, I want to remind you that there will be no early release this Wednesday 04/08 because it is just a four day week. I hope you all had a great spring break! |
