Mrs. Afraid of Lightning was Miss Heuston's sub for the day, as she had to go to a funeral. The students were on their best behavior and made Mrs. A feel very welcome.
A representative from Longhorn Steakhouse, Jenna was here to do a demonstration. The students made a strawberry salad using romaine lettuce, feta cheese, red onion, strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, and raspberry vinegrette or ranch dressing. They said it was yummy! After they were done eating it, Jenna gave them a FREE steak and mashed potatoes! We are so spoiled!

We had so much fun and enjoyed getting to know all the amazing students we got to spend the morning with. I hung Angel's painting in my kitchen and Lizzy's smile warmed my heart! Great group of kids that will go far in life. Thank you for letting us be a part of your day
